Portsmouth Robert 'Bob' Lewis Smith, Jr., 61, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2009. He was a native of Lynchburg, VA and was the son of the late Lillie and Robert Smith, Sr. He was a member of Cradock Baptist Church and the NNSY Golf Association. He is survived by his wife, Sue Smith; a daughter, Tracey O’Neal and husband Steve; a son, Chris Smith and wife Leslie; a brother, Gene Johnson; four grandchildren, Joshua, Kelsie, Erin and Rachel; and a mother-in-law, Jean Worley. A graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, January 2, at Greenlawn Memorial Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel Friday from 7 - 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cradock Baptist Church.
