Jeannine Adamson Dawson Irvine

Jeannine Adamson Dawson Irvine, 57, of Hurt, died Thursday, June 29,
2006, following a short illness. She was the wife of Howard T. Irvine, Sr.
Born Oct. 11, 1948, in Moscow, Idaho, she was a daughter of the late
Marvin and Mary Sperlock Adamson.
Jeannine was a former employee of B. & W., attended Lane Memorial United
Methodist Church, and was a member of the Red Hot Mamas of Altavista,
Red Hat Society.
Also surviving are two children, Kevin "Tiny" Dawson and wife, Margie, and
Jonathan Dawson and wife, Kim, all of Hurt; two stepchildren, Howard T.
Irvine, Jr. of Rustburg, and Lisa D. Irvine of Lynchburg; a sister, Vicky
Tinsley of Gretna; three grandchildren, Gavin A. Dawson, Caleb J. Dawson,
and Colby A. Dawson.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2006, at
Virginia Memorial Park, with Pastor Jeff Allen officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at
Whitten Timberlake Chapel, 7404 Timberlake Road, and at other times at
her son Jonathan's home, 213 Thrush Road, Hurt, VA.
