Stewart Alan Dube, 64, of Lynchburg, died Thursday,
December 8, 2011, at McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond.
Born in Berlin, N.H., he was the son of the late
Normand Roland Dube and the late Dora Nadeau Dube.
Stewart was a former fireman with the Lynchburg Fire Department
and he was a licensed jump master. He served his country in both
the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by two brothers, Roland N. Dube and his wife, Sue,
of Rustburg and Russell Dube and his wife, Gail, of Lynchburg;
one sister, Janice D. Wymer and her husband, David, of Roanoke
and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Sunday,
December 11, 2011, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with military honors.
