| ROWE, Carol Sue Lawhorne, after a prolonged illness passed away peacefully early in the morning of December 15, 2008 while resting at her son's home. Born July 9, 1948 in Lynchburg, Va., Ms. Rowe was the daughter of Katherine Lawhorne Davis and Carl A. Lawhorne. She was a graduate of E.C. Glass High School and Radford College. She is survived by her mother and her brother, Larry P. Lawhorne, both of Lynchburg; her three children, William L.S. Rowe Jr., Bejamin C. Rowe and Susannah B. Rowe, all of Richmond. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 19, 2008 at First Baptist Church Chapel, Monument Ave. and the Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society , 3961 Deep Rock Rd., Richmond, Va. 23233. |
