What have you been up to since you graduated?

Attended Wingate College ( now University ), attended Lynchburg College and graduated in 1971. Married Wendy in April 14,1973. Worked for the City of Lynchburg from 10/1971 until 12/2009, 38 years at the Lynchburg Regional Juvenile Detention Center serving 36 of those years as Superintendent.
School Story:

1962-1964 attended ECG, Dad was transferred to Danville,VA, 1964-1966 attended GWHS….what a trip.

What are your memories of high school (i.e. secret crush, embarrassing moment, funniest thing you did in high school, favorite high school hang out, favorite teachers)?

Blood oath with several classmates not to reveal !!!

What did you do when you got out of Glass HS?

Enrolled into George Washington High School…under duress

What is your high point/highlight of life after High School?

Marrying Wendy…having two wonderful children and now having three grand children.

What would we be surprised to know about you?

I loved GWHS and the people I met there.

My greatest accomplishments are:

Staying married to the same lady since April 14, 1973…helping raise two wonderful children,and seeing both of them grow into wonderful adults…becoming a grand-father.

Alaska, Hawaii, Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Barbados, Martinique, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Bermuda, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Hungary, Germany and Canada.

What do you do in your spare time?

Golf, volunteer with Red Cross, travel to see children and grand children
